Amazing ice sculptures. We had -4 here at Langley Mill last night and only thin ice on the canal. Are you sure your not living in a freezer?

Okay.

Not Oz.

But please check the surrounding area for fauns, gas lamps, lions, witches and Ikea packaging (other wardrobes are available.....)

Stalactites and Stalagmites take years to form from dripping mineral water in underground caves.
These icy ones seem to be very similar, but of course formed much quicker from dripping water and the icy spray blown from the weir.
Thanx for braving the Arctic weather down there to share these unique photos for us to enjoy.
