We're in Wallingford and Indigo Dream is surrounded by water - towpath totally flooded.

I am above Oxford on the stretch to Lechlade.
Wow, that's high. Is it Eynsham lock? I've never seen it looking so turbulent. I hope you've been able to find something solid to moor onto.
Did you try moving? I need to turn around but am nervous. Are you allowed through the locks when red boards are up?

Yes, it is. The level below the lock is the same as the level above. I don't recommend moving down stream at all. Bridges are not funny. Only move if you absolutely have this the usual remit and my understanding is that lock keepers can't stop you going thought the locks of red boards but to do so would invalidate your insurance, I think, and be insane. Moving under these conditions would also be insane.
Lock keepers are great so if you have queries they are the ones to ask!
I moved my boat but I screamed whilst my friend who is an expert did the steering. I wouldn't even risk it today.
Hope all is well aboard Bones.
I'm not moving and have accepted my fate, whatever that may be. Waking up on a field one morning would be a novel experience.

A little soggy on the poop deck, a rather large hole in the cover but otherwise fine thank you :o)
I hear they are holding back the water above the next lock. I'm sure it's helping. Glad to hear the levels are dropping near you, sounded very scary.
Wow! Great pictures. I totally love the double rainbow! That does not happen all the time.
