Back to the keyboard idea.....

Does anyone out there have a p-70 yamaha keyboard, and if so, do you know the actual power consumption?

I keep coming back to the idea of having a keyboard on the boat, and as time goes by my fingers are getting rustier and rustier and I need to practice more

I'm sorry. Run that by me again, please, MT

C'mon Mort the PSU will provide 1.5Amps (Max) at 12 volts for as long as you leave it pugged in.

The limiting factor is the Ampere-hour rating of your batteries and whatever else you have running at the same time. And of of course you have to leave suffuicient power in your batteries to start engine.

If you boat electrical system is 12V why do you require a PSU anyway?

Do not worry too much about the rusty fingers, WD40 or 3in1 oil applied externally will normally shift light rusting. More serious or flaky iron oxide should be removed with emery cloth before application.
