Camera AGAIN!

You will remember AGES ago I was thinking about a camera. Let it not be said that I find it difficult to make decisions, nor that it takes me a long time to do them for I have finally managed to narrow down my choice to one camera. Before I break the bank I thought I would see what you my wise readers think about it.

It is a Sony H3 Sony H3.

I went into 3 shops today to see what the best price was. Sony did an excellent deal. Jessops did a good deal but when I went back I ended up talking to one of the chaps who was suffering from a severe lack of manners, which affected my ability to tolerate ignorance, Finally Alex from Curry's also offered me a good deal too. The deals were so good I left the shops and came home again.

Pardon me poking my nose in but having decided on a model Try Amazon who do some excellent deals and have CUSTOMER feedback which I have found very useful. An NB owning mutual friend also knows his way around digital cameras.

KH - cool! Who is that, both Maffi and I are puzzled and eager to hear as he thinks he might buy one as well!

Incidently - I am waiting eagerly for that beer you promised... when are you coming up (or was that an invitation to come down to you I heard?)

Hi LIHNM. Sometimes MAFFI's modesty is his only fault. He's my technical expert on many things especially if it's related to digital gadgetry. He may not possess an honours degree in electronic engineering but he is intensely practical and understands much more jargon than that for which he claims credit. (All round good egg and good buddy. I've known Maffi for 20 Years)

I think he looks it up on the internet. Seriously, I have found Amazon customer feedback very helpful as they sometimes raise points you may not have considered.

Congrats on the depression diatribe. 'Snap out of it' is not always helpful but MUST be borne in mind as "victim thinking" can set in.

Reference beer. Xrefer to one liner on PRISONERS & time off for good behaviour. It will happen Just not sure when.

Anyway seasonal greetings and for the new year I would wish you whatever you would wish for yourself plus peace. Just BE HAPPY! !

Hi Bones

I have got the Sony H2 and it's very good BUT it is bulky and I use a small HP photosmart A425 which came with a printer/dock A430, for preference - I haven't noticed much in the quality to be honest. The HP fits in my pocket and I use it much more.

I got my Sony (and also my brilliant Nikon binoculars) from Warehouse Express - it was in the bargain basement.

Good result! Feedback from an experienced user. Much depends on your requirements. Me, I purchased a Fujifilm A610 (6Mpixel no sound)@Tescos for £69, I'm no Lord Lichfield but IT DOES FOR ME, and it was as much as I wished to spend. Hope you get more feedback on the model of your dreams.
